Meat Loaf will not be able to sing during his upcoming comeback tour.
Instead, American Idol winner Caleb Johnson will fill in on vocals during the Back Out Of Hell world tour.
However, the 70-year-old star is not going to fully disappoint his fans, as he will take to the stage to tell stories about Jim Steinman.
"Meat Loaf is concerned he isn't up to some of the bigger numbers after losing his voice a couple of years ago," the Sun reported.
Johnson is expected to perform some of the "I'd Do Anything for Love" singer's biggest hits.
Meat Loaf was full of praise for Johnson when he won American Idol four years ago: "It's great to see him tearing it up and putting some real rock'n'roll back on primetime TV!"
