Running a successful internet radio station by yourself is no easy task especially if you are very serious about gaining an audience and sounding professional. There are so many ups and downs, and there are problems and issues that always need attention. Usually there is no engineer or computer technician on hand. If something goes wrong, it's a daunting task to figure out where the problem originates and how to solve it.
Throughout the years, I've acquired professionals that I could call on when something does go wrong. I have a computer technical company that I turn to in the event of a computer problem, a voice talent that records various audio imaging for the station, as well as several people who are involved with internet radio who provide some help and guidance. I use excellent radio automation software and will contact the developer in the event of a problem.
Don't expect things to go smoothly all the time and don't let things go if something goes wrong. Stick with it and be persistent it will pay off.
