Believe it or not, Netflix will be airing an animated action comedy about Elvis Presley. Here's the latest from RTT News.
On the 42nd anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, Netflix announced that it has ordered adult animated action comedy series "Agent King," featuring the King of Rock as a covert government agent who fights to keep America safe while also maintaining his cover as a rock & roll star.
"Elvis Presley trades in his white jumpsuit for a jet pack when he is covertly inducted into a secret government spy program to help battle the dark forces that threaten the country he loves — all while holding down his day job as the King Of Rock And Roll," Netflix said in a statement about the story line.
The legendary singer's widow Priscilla Presley and John Eddie are the series' executive producers.
"My co-creator John Eddie and I are so excited to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this amazing project and getting the chance to show the world an Elvis they haven't seen before," said Priscilla.
