Coronavirus Takes Another Great Talent

It's very sad to report the death of John Prine due to Coronavirus. I became a fan of his back in the 1980's when I ran a folk show at WMGQ (Magic 98.3) in New Jersey. He's another great one gone due to this virus. Here's the official information that was reported to Rolling Stone magazine.

John Prine, who for five decades wrote rich, plain-spoken songs that chronicled the struggles and stories of everyday working people and changed the face of modern American roots music, died Tuesday at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was 73. The cause was complications related to COVID-19, his family confirmed to Rolling Stone.

We are all saddened that no one is immune to this insidious virus!
