Cousin Brucie is Going Back to Where it All Started

If you lived in the New York Area in the 60s or 70s or lived out of the signal area you probably fine tuned your radio at night to pick up WABC, a 50,000 watt clear channel station at 770 on your am dial. You probably heard Cousin Brucie. playing the hits, talking to listeners and making everyone feel good.

Bruce Morrow or Cousin Brucie as he is referred to by the hoards of his adoring fans dominated the airwaves for nearly five decades. After WABC, the cousin moved to WNBC 66 am in New York, then later to WCBS-FM all in New York. About 15 years ago he made a move to Sirius XM radio.

Last week, Cousin Brucie did his last show on Sirius XM to the disappointment of thousands of listeners but he made a big announcement this week. On September 5th, he will be returning to WABC 77am in New York. The station is now a conservative talk station with low ratings. I believe that Cousin Brucie will make the bright light shine again. He will be doing a weekly show on Saturday nights. For those who can't pick up WABC's signal you can download the WABC app or ask Alexa to play 77 WABC.

Congratulations Cousin Brucie for coming full circle and for giving your fans something to look forward to each week.

Cousin Brucie is one of the last remaining super jocks that shaped our lives in the 60s and 70s!
