Jukebox Party Comes to Edgewater Gold Radio
I've always stressed variety on Edgewater Gold Radio. I get into some confrontational discussions about how I believe that oldies music has deep roots and those roots shouldn't be forgotten. Terrestrial radio does not offer variety especially when it comes to oldies music. They dismiss all of the great songs that make oldies.....oldies! Their version of oldies is a very watered down version of top classic hits from mostly the 80's! Come on!
Edgewater Gold Radio does not rely solely on advertisers to dictate what we will play. If it were that way, there would be NO Edgewater Gold Radio! We stress great oldies, oldies from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and even some 90's. We dig deep in the oldies archives and the result is that our
listeners keep coming back. Variety is key and if someone says" wow I haven't heard that one in a long time," I know I'm accomplishing my goal. I'm providing the entertainment that my listeners enjoy.
On Sunday, May 9, we are adding a new show to our weekend lineup. It's called Mike Bollea's Jukebox Party. You will hear great oldies mostly from the 50s but some early 60's as well. Songs you may never have heard! This is a great addition to our weekend programming. The show's high energy and nostalgic 50s and early 60s music will keep you scratching your heads and saying "WOW."
If you miss the 50's make sure you tune in! You'll certainly get your dose during Mike Bollea's Jukebox Party Sunday 5pm - 7pm eastern time.
