Overcrowded Internet or Something Else?

Over the past several weeks, I've noticed that my stations Edgewater Gold Radio will periodically drop out for a second or two a few times throughout the day. There are no problems with the server, no problems with the system and really no problems with our cable system. So what's been causing this? My theory is this. The pandemic has forced millions of people to work from home and millions of kids to learn virtually. This is the only answer I could think of. I've noted the times that this mostly occurs. It's during the 9am hour, Noon hour and 4:00 hour. These are hours that seem to be have the most internet activity. There's more signing on and signing off and millions on the internet at the same time.

I hope that as this crisis continues, large internet companies like Xfinity will do what they need to do to increase band width and be able to accommodate everyone, after all, business and learning depends on it!
