Tom Hanks has displayed his new haircut to portray the role of Colonel Tom Parker in the new Elvis Presley biopic. Thomas "Colonel Tom" Parker was the late rock star's manager.
The Hollywood hero took off his baseball cap during "The Graham Norton Show" after saying, "let me show you the horrible haircut I have to have in order to play Colonel Tom Parker."
Hanks said he is acting in the film directed by Baz Luhrmann, which is currently shooting in Australia.
"Check out this horrible… can you see that? Look at that thing! I just scared the children," Hanks jokingly said about his shaven head.
"What I really want to do is to have a little tuft of hair right here, and then a big beard, and then everybody would think I'm Graham Norton," he added.
Austin Butler will play the lead role of the "King of Rock and Roll" in the biopic, which is expected to release later this year.
